Job Scheduling and Management
ActiveBatch Version
4 from Advanced Systems Concepts is the latest upgrade of the company's advanced
job scheduling
and management application. Designed for MS Windows XP/2000/NT, Unix, and Open VMS
systems, offers batch processing control and management and scalable job execution
across a variety of software platforms. Version 4 supports four standard client
interfaces (GUI, CLI, MMC, and COM), as well as optional Web Server (Internet Explorer
or Netscape) and wireless (Blackberry handheld) capabilities. Unix integration enhances
the application's support for job execution on the most popular platforms, including
IBM AIX, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Compaq Tru64 Unix, and Open VMS. The new graphical
interface depicts the relationships among jobs; users can create these relationships
onscreen by simply drawing lines from one job to another and applying dependency
information. The Relationship Editor (packaged with Version 4) and System View (add-in)
enable users to visualize and create job streams and relationships. Advanced Systems Concepts Inc., Parsippany, NJ; 1.973.539.2660.
