Description:
We're looking for highly motivated individuals who will provide pre/post technical software support to our customer base. You will be part of a team that assists customers, in a timely, accurate, and friendly manner when they have questions or problems concerning the company’s software products. You will also provide technical content for our web site (knowledge base) and technical newsletter articles. Our training will include advanced product usage as to further your understanding and allow for upward career growth into our professional services and/or training areas as well as software engineering. In particular, this person will learn our ActiveBatch Enterprise Job Scheduling product.
As many of our customers are administrators, you should have "admin" knowledge of Windows (UNIX knowledge a plus). You must have excellent interpersonal communications skills, be even tempered and project a positive and caring attitude. A written test will be administered to demonstrate general computer knowledge as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum requirements include Bachelors Degree (BS/MS in a related computer field), strong knowledge of VBscript and COM object manipulation using Windows Scripting Host and expert administrative knowledge of the Microsoft Windows platform. Microsoft Certification and/or knowledge of UNIX platforms a plus. Good working knowledge of Oracle a plus.
