Release date: 8/7/2012

Record growth accompanies industry recognition by leading analyst firms for ActiveBatch functionality, simplicity and unique selling model.

MORRISTOWN, NJ – (August 7, 2012) – Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. (ASCI), maker of ActiveBatch® Workload Automation and Job Scheduling Software, today announced it has capped a nine-month period of unprecedented financial growth with the best third quarter year-to-date. Combined with stronger-than-ever recognition from industry analyst firms, the period marks a strongly accelerating global acceptance for ActiveBatch’s product and customer service strategies.

In the first nine months of its 2012 fiscal year, Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc., a privately-held, self-funded and profitable company, has logged a 32% increase in new sales revenue compared to the same period last year, and has signed 62 new ActiveBatch Workload Automation customers, including 19 customers outside the United States in regions including Europe and Asia-Pacific. As of today, ActiveBatch is used in over 1,500 implementations across 43 countries.

This growth has been accompanied by ActiveBatch’s recognition by three of the industry’s leading analyst firms in recent months. Most recently, Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) in its 2012 Workload Automation Radar Report cited ActiveBatch for its Integrated Jobs Library, simplicity and ease of use that supports a unique Internet-based selling and support model that allows customers to easily install and demo a workload automation product.

The EMA Radar Report inclusion follows ActiveBatch’s positioning in the “Magic Quadrant for Workload Automation,” by Milind Govekar and Biswajeet Mahapatra, February 2012, in a report published by industry research firm Gartner. ActiveBatch was also placed in Forrester Research’s “Market Overview: IT Process Automation, Q3 2011” report that pointed to ActiveBatch’s capabilities in workload and runbook automation, self-service automation, as well as the product’s drag-and-drop interface and readymade jobs and templates.

“Advanced Systems Concepts is pleased to be recognized by these analyst firms for our product’s simplicity, ease of use, functionality and recognition for using an Internet-based selling and support model that is changing the way people purchase and support a workload automation solution,” said Jim Manias, Vice President of Marketing and Sales. “Our inclusion marks a record period of strong revenue growth, new customer acquisition and the maturation of ActiveBatch into a single IT automation solution.”
