ActiveBatch® allows user to optimize resources in the scheduling and execution of workloads with the goal of ensuring that service-level agreements (SLAs) and business deadlines are met. Scheduling analytics combines historical and predictive analysis by measuring behavioral insight such as historical workflow performance, resource availability and capacity, and based on upcoming workload schedules, makes future predictions about possible execution times and durations of workflows. Additionally, scheduling analytics interacts with ActiveBatch's Smart Queue to ensure that virtual and cloud-based systems are correctly provisioned. ActiveBatch's ability to "intelligently automate" the provisioning and allocation of resources to ensure the successful completion of workflows is critical to reduce the cost of IT operations.

ActiveBatch provides users with a Critical Path Analysis View that provides statistical information about the workflow runtimes and SLA satisfaction rates, as well as real-time critical path analysis as workflows are executing, providing users with information pertaining to workflow execution with respect to SLAs and checks critical path priorities for workflows threatening to breach an SLA.

ActiveBatch highlights SLA-dependent workflows and can take action to prevent them from breaching:
