About Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc.

Dedicated to improving business performance and IT operations through software solutions

Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. (ASCI) was founded in 1981 by Ben Rosenberg as a software engineering and consulting company specializing in the development of strategic system software management solutions. With an initial focus on the development of mission critical applications, ASCI introduced products for high-performance transaction processing, which were subsequently licensed to HP (then Digital Equipment Corporation), ultimately becoming the heart of their transaction processing strategy in the commercial sector. Later products reduced the time to recovery in the event of a site or system loss and have become the solution of choice for OpenVMS Disaster Recovery. These products gained new visibility when organizations like Dresdner Kleinwort were back up and running at their remote site in less than an hour after the September 11th attacks.

ActiveBatch, ASCI’s flagship Workload Automation and Enterprise Job Scheduling solution, was first introduced more than 15 years ago. Continuous innovation based on feedback from customers and interactions with IT professionals at all levels have earned ASCI recognition as a leader in the Workload Automation industry, year after year. ActiveBatch continues to evolve, introducing new features and capabilities that address changing market challenges and requirements.

ASCI's people and products have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Yahoo, and recognized by leading analyst firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and Enterprise Management Associates (EMA). Advanced Systems Concepts, Inc. has a global customer base of over 2,000 organizations spanning 50 countries.
