The ActiveBatch
® Change Management System ensures
a highly reliable and error free approach to synchronizing and managing objects,
in a controlled fashion, across different ActiveBatch environments, such as TEST,
QA and PRODUCTION. The ActiveBatch Change Management System is part of the Job Scheduler's
set of core capabilities and offers every ActiveBatch user the ability to reliably
reduce costs and delays associated with deploying and updating end-to-end workflows
across systems and objects.
The ActiveBatch Change Management System's graphical interface detects object differences
and indicates the level of synchronization that needs to be performed. Using a visual
approach in comparing objects, ActiveBatch allows the designer to approve, accept
or exclude each of the changes, handle exceptions and transform the object names
to ensure as they reliably navigate the different environments and ensure they execute
with precision in the new environment.
Objects selected to be synchronized can be presented to management for their review
and approval. The Change Set synchronization can be scheduled from within ActiveBatch
(e.g. updating your production system on a weekend or other non-peak period).
