Web Based Scheduling An Important Aspect Of ActiveBatch® Intelligent Automation

The ActiveBatch Web Server / Client Enterprise interface provides secure and easy
web based job scheduling access to ActiveBatch. ActiveBatch users can manage their
jobs and processes from any platform that can run either the Microsoft Internet
Explorer, Netscape or Fire Fox web browsers.
The ActiveBatch Mobile interface, which is included with the Web Server Enterprise
Edition and which is licensed separately, allows for running the ActiveBatch system
on your PDA or Smartphone device. The ActiveBatch Mobile's compact and intuitively
designed interface fully exposes and makes accessible the ActiveBatch objects, their
status, histories, audits and other critical information in an easy to navigate
style. Using capabilities such as "favorites" within the ActiveBatch system, search
and the option to turn off graphics for faster load time, users can quickly and
easily access and edit each object to improve and or manage the ActiveBatch system
from their web accessible devices.
Today's mobile workforce requires operational and administrative access to their
job management and job scheduling systems from any system or geographic location
by use of a web based job scheduling utility. By simplifying how users can connect
to their systems and also adding a host of new platforms that can support enhanced
client access capabilities, ActiveBatch users will find an overall improvement in
server and application manageability for jobs through this web based add-in. Administrators
will appreciate expanded capabilities from the web based scheduling interface because
software is limited and fully authenticated access can be provided.
The ActiveBatch Web Clients allows full operational control for creating, modifying,
submitting, holding or deleting ActiveBatch objects via the "Design View" graphical
interface (not available on ActiveBatch Mobile) for drag and draw operations and
/ or through the job property sheets. Use of the ActiveBatch Web Clients using the
full Microsoft Windows Security Model, including Kerberos, for authenticated access
and control.
